"Paved Path"

We spent time at a local  coffee  shop today roughing out our upcoming  European tour that will start in Brussels. Where it tells the different  road surface does "Paved Path" always refer to a bike path?

Borders?

Maybe  I'm  looking  right at it but not seeing.  But are the borders of each country shown on the map? If they are there  what does the "line" look like?

Getting  ready to become a  Supporter and I notice that the above  will  be available.  How do they differ  from the regular map?

OSM German?

I have been  playing around  with the different  map types but I  cannot  seem  to see  the difference  between  OSM maps  the German  one.

Do I just need more coffee? 

Ireland & Scotland???

Actually I  have 2 questions!  First is they a way to  search for routes that have been created for certain  areas?

And starting  to think about next year's tour.  Wondering  if anyone  has toured Ireland and  Scotland?  Air Lingus will  be starting  direct  flights to Dublin  next spring.
