I recall that on the android app there used to be a compass icon that when pressed gave options for orientating the map so you could select having the route you were following always upwards on the screen.
That icon seems to have now vanished but there is a follow button. That centres the map but doesn't give map orientation options.
Is there currently an option for the route to always be upwards on the screen?
Thank you for any insights!
Today when I zoom into the map (fingers stretching it) the app (v1.2) suddenly closes. I don't think this used to happen?!
However I don't think the app does actually close as it is still in the active apps tray, but it seems that the window closes. This happens at the same zoom point every time and fails consistently have stopped and restarted the app and having restarted the phone.
Super excited that you're now moving to work on the android app.
There's no point to this post except to say thank you and to spur you on. I'm so looking forward to taking it for a spin. And if that's not tomorrow, the next day will do :-)
I see the cycle.travel Apple app is available in the wild for testing. That's great news.
But as a long-term Android user, this to say I'm really looking forward to testing a port of the app to Android as soon as it is ready!
(Thank you Richard for all your hard work on the App and the website. The UX and routing get better and better.)
Hello
I was wondering if it is possible to add a scale 'bar' to the OS map layer as it appears on the other map layers in the top right corner?
On my browser (Chrome 100.0.4896.93 on Chrome OS) I don't get a scale bar on OS maps and peculiarly once I have visited the OS map layer I don't get a scale bar on any of the other map layers until I reload the page.
With thanks
Giles
