GPS Pinpoint?

Is this a feature that I'm missing or something you're looking to add in future? I've used a web based map in the past and having the ability to use my phone in powersave mode and pinpoint my location on a map saves so much time. Can this be done whilst in the planning stage of cycle.travel 

Alternatively, is there a way I can get the TCX file onto a garmin/phone app while travelling without a laptop?
