I am leading a week-long international cycle tour with about 30 people, so I created a folder for the ride with all of the relevant routes inside (including all-in-one tracks and the same routes broken up by day). When I pass the various links to this (the map summary view is amazing, by the way), nobody on the ride can easily import these routes into their own navigation.
I had to go to 29 people and tell each one to click on each route in a desktop web browser, find the ID number from the URL, and enter that. This feels sub-optimal.
The signposted routes from the ferry to the train station take you via lifts and stairs that are a pain, but if you ignore them and ride to a level crossing at one end of the station, you can wheel your bike up a ramp between barrier blocks and onto the London-bound platform.
I used to be given an option, when saving a route, to break it up into individual days. It would split based on the rough location of the overnight stop markers. I don't seem to see this option any more.
Most riders will join us in Dover on the afternoon of 4 August, and ride over to Dunkerque together. From there it's an evening in Dunkerque, another in Bruges, one in Ghent, one in Antwerp, two nights in Rotterdam, and then on to Amsterdam.
We leave London bright and early on the morning of 3 August, and do our best to make it to Canterbury before the hostel closes. The next day we rush to Dover to make a midday ferry over to Dunkerque.
