The Mercian Way (NCN45) or Border Raid?

Hi there!

Upon recommendation via The Bike Show (ep. Jack talks to Richard @ cycle.travel) I rode the utterly brilliant Lon Las Cymru in the summer of 2021. I'm looking for something similar, but not the same, within reasonable striking distance of London. On the cards at the moment is either the Mercian Way (NCN 45) or "Border Raid". Does anyone have any suggestions? (Footnotes: I'm reasonably fit, can ride around 60 miles a day on a fully loaded bike and would prefer something that suits my Fairlight Secan with touring tyres).

Thank you!

Nick
