Garmin & Map Question

I was looking at Garmin Express to see about getting the Europe maps that I need. I thought I would delete the Mexico and other areas as a test. But Garmin servers are not allowing any activity. Now this kinda reinforced my concern about Garmin screwing up my device.

So my idea is to move the map files to a micro SD card and then obtain maps from Openfiet or BBBIKE.

My question is how do I identify the map file on my Garmin?

Garmin Explore 2?

So not a Cycle Travel question but kinda related! 

We have a Garmin Explore 2 with North America maps. We will be touring in Europe and will need Europe maps. Has anyone obtained them?

Of course we will use Cycle Travel!

Richard your Cycle Travel is a fantastic tool. We are in the process of routing this year's  European tour. But wondering do you get to use Cycle Travel on a actual tour?

Iron Curtain Route in Germany?

Wondering if anyone  has ridden this route?I notice that it seems  to "end" at a point both on the Eurovelo map and on the Route map here on Cycle Travel. 

Any info would be great!

Removing Way Points?

Can way points be removed after creating  a route?
