Some wonderful riding around Marlborough with great coffee stops on circular routes. Through the ancient Savernake forest to Great Bedwyn and Wendy’s cafe on the old bowling green. Go west to Honeystreet and the Mill Cafe. East to Kintbury and the Honesty cafe at Inkpen. Great coffee in the post office cafes in Shalbourne and Aldbourne or the British Legion in Ramsbury. Spoiled for choice!
I am planning a ride from Santander to Tavira, Portugal, c1000k, in September on my hybrid e-bike. Would be grateful for any advice and experience of finding places to re-charge the battery and any other tips from anyone who has tackled a similar route: I’m planning Reinosa, Valladolid, Salamanca, Badajoz, Ayamonte.
