Cambridge to London via Royston & Ware

I have had 2 goes at this now and neither were entirely satifactory. The obvious Lea Valley route south of Ware on NCR 1 is difficult as the cycleways are narrow and shared with a variety of pedestrians. If you have the patience or get lucky with a quiet day I'd advise avoiding the Lower Nazing/Clyton Hill section of NCR1.

It hasbeen suggested a better route is via Epping.

CBG to Ely

This route does 2 things.

1. Gets to Ely avoiding traffic as much as possible

2. Avoids Newnham Drove and the Cockup Bridge
