No question, just a big Thank You!

Just wanting to express our thanks for cycle.travel and all the work put into it!! (specifically Richard!).

We are a Kiwi couple who spent 2 month biking in the UK last year, using CT everyday. We are shortly returning to pick up our stored bikes and will spend another 3+ months biking, a couple of weeks in UK then into France... and beyond. Once again we will be utilising CT at all times... we find it just brilliant, and finding new tricks all the time :)

As a side note, I also use CT back home in New Zealand... although not so much for navigation but it is brilliant for planning climbs/gradients etc. Extremely accurate... also always exact with distances predicted.

So simply, thank you!! ... or in "Kiwi speak"... Good on ya mate!

Bikepacking UK - bike options

2 of us are hoping to link together a few of the wonderful routes in the UK, over a 6 week period June/July 2024. We are travelling over from New Zealand so looking at best option:

a) bring our bikes with us (least desirable option!)

b) rent (preferably for whole time, or could potentially do multiple short term options but could get messy!)

c) buy and either store "somewhere" before returning in 2025 to continue using... or alternatively buy and sell at end of 6 weeks.

Looking at Hybrid (have extensively used Trek F3) and will be bringing our own bikepacking bags, tent etc. So... wondering if any suggestions/clues as to companies to contact, particularly around the hire or buy/potential sell back options? We are flexible on locations, happy to utilise train system to get to start points etc. Also flexible on where we fly into as coming via (organised bike tour) Jordan and then Turkey. At this stage thinking will start biking Scotland/Hebridean Way and then make our way south to end London area.
