Ruined in what way? It all seems to work fine and the posts are more courteous than seems to be the case on many cycling forums. Could you give a link to the DC Rainmaker post?
Does it involve stolen login details?
The post in DC Rainmaker was shorthand that was all the info. I should have gotten on the site to check it out. Will do it later.
I think the commenter on DC Rainmaker is putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5. They said “bbbike.org seems to have been hijacked by Chinese users (hackers?). All of the street names on the map are in Chinese but with English lettering.” This might be a bug or it might be a Garmin issue, but it won’t be hackers. Hackers are much more interested in sending spam or mining bitcoins than in changing street names on maps!
