A circular touring route suitable for a three- or four-day break, the Wiltshire Cycleway explores the perimeter of the county on rural roads, some quieter than others. Salisbury makes a suitable starting point for this route that takes in Salisbury Plain, the Wessex Downs, and attractive towns like Marlborough, Malmesbury and Bradford-on-Avon. Wiltshire is not a flat county and you should expect to be standing up on the pedals now and then! This is a classic touring route that devotees of on-road cycling will enjoy.
