The big draw is the Camel Trail, perhaps Britain's most popular leisure cycleway. Though only 12 miles from Bodmin to Padstow, the superb scenery of the Camel Estuary makes this wide, gravel path a favourite with thousands of holidaymakers every summer. Wadebridge is the centre of cycle hire on the route. After Padstow, NCN 32 follows narrow Cornish lanes to Newquay and Truro, up and down a seemingly endless succession of hills.
