A 100-mile coast-to-coast route from the Bristol Channel at Clevedon to the English Channel at Portland, perfect for a weekend tour. It includes the much-loved Strawberry Line rail trail across the Mendips to Wells, while Glastonbury, Yeovil and Sherborne - plus, of course, the fleshpots of Weymouth - are full of touring interest. South of the Strawberry Line it's mostly on-road; the rail-trail currently stops at Cheddar, and you'll have to make your own way along the busy A371 for the few miles to Wells where the route resumes.
