The Fallowfield Loop ("Floop" to its friends) is Manchester's leading traffic-free cycle route, orbiting the south of the city on a former railway trackbed. Paved throughout, it's a green corridor used equally for commuting and leisure. NCN 60 continues on to the Ashton Canal towpath, upgraded as part of the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
