What happens when I miss a turn or when I make a wrong turn? Does the navigation voice tell me somehow?
I tried navigating a local route today using both sound effects and voice directions. While riding, I listen to audio books. The voice directions are spoken over the audio, which I don’t mind.
The problem is with the sound effect tones. The tones turn down the audio but don’t restore it to its previous level. There doesn’t seem to be a way to restore the audio level, so the audio level remains low. It meant not hearing the audio, so I turned off the tones, which I’d like to use in addition to the voice directions.
Is this a bug, feature, or is there someway to change this via a setting?
I have used ridewithGPS in the past for their audible turn by turn cues. I have just downloaded the cycle.travel app (iOS) and it isn't clear to me if the turn cues are audible and/or need a setting change to enable them.
It has been raining here and I haven't gotten out on my bike to test this. I will on Monday, but wanted to ask about it before I try it in case there is something I need to know before hand.
