Cycle routes

Can you remind me how to get the app or website to show a particular cycle route and then to remove part of the route please? It always seems to prefer a different way to the one I want. I may have my reasons for knowing which way I want to go. For instance, I have used one of your route guides to show part of EV15.  Now I would like to reduce that to Hook of Holland to Gorinchem.  Thank you

App doesn't work on a cycle ride

I'm getting desperate now. Going to Brittany solo in 9 days. Spent a month in Germany and Denmark in June without being able to get Cycle Travel to work but not so serious then as I was with a companion who was able to navigate by another means. Has worked once for me in Cornwall. A route completed with voice directions. Continue to try all ways. Spent hours reading old forum posts. Easy to plot on a MacBook air. Nothing comes up on the app. So, I have lots of routes on the laptop (for Brittany) which I hope to get downloaded on my Android phone and be able to use offline with spoken directions. Meanwhile I continue to try and get the same in Cornwall. Total failure. "Unable to connect with server". I noticed there is no "coffee" symbol on my phone app. Could that be the problem?

After plotting on the phone I press save and it comes up as a saved journey. The area map is downloaded. It doesn't work when I leave the house. Is "save" the same as download or am I missing something? Sometimes the "bullseye" symbol is present, sometimes not. I forget what it's for now in any case.

So do I give up and try something else? Back to paper maps perhaps. Or do I try a crash course on Komoot?

Today: tried plotting home to Playing Place post office on Android phone return as a test, again. Saved. Unable to connect to server. No directions. No line route. 

Still no joy

I still haven't managed a ride with spoken instructions for the whole ride. The most I managed was half of a 40 km ride then they just stopped. Today on 34 km ride, nothing until about half way when I got the hooter. Then, at lunch time when stopped for half an hour, suddenly the instruction for a left turn 10m ahead. Nothing else. The ride was: Summercourt to Feock.

The GPS marker followed the route accurately throughout. I had the volume turned up, and tried with and without data. The route was saved and accessible. Since getting home I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. The route was plotted on a MacBook synced with an Android phone. On someone else's phone, Google maps was working perfectly. Help would be appreciated because I've been trying since May. Thank you.

Mobile app

Problem. The way cycle.travel is displayed on my phone is different to the way described.  There are no headers or footers, just "where to...?"

Problem. I can drag a route on a laptop but not on iPad or phone.  The whole map moves.

Problem.  The audio directions just stop when out and about.  Did get good directions for half the route for the first time. 

How do I delete routing which has just appeared and isn't wanted?

Am struggling to get started with cycle.travel. Is there an introduction which takes you through some preliminary steps? Tried the search bar etc but no joy. Thank you.
