Saving an imported GPX track

Hi,
I am testing cycle.travel and like it so far. Congratulations! However, I run into one issue: on the Android application I am able to open an imported GPX file (which was created with Komoot, Cyclers or Brouter) and navigate with it, but when I try to save the route into the route folder it says: "Sorry, you can't save a route made from a GPX track". Is there no way to keep the track I have imported and traveled with cycle.travel navigation on Android? Thanks in advance for your reply.
