Feature proposal: dynamic elevation selection

Hi Richard,

I love cycle.travel and have been using it for years :) I just want to propose the following 'killer feature': the ability to make a selection within the elevation graph and inspect key figures like total/average elevation for that specific section. From my perspective, it would really add value to the editor. RidewithGPS does that quite well (see below).

Section highlight

Hello Rich,

first of all - you are doing a fantastic job here. I'm a developer myself, so I know what it means to build software like this. Everything is perfectly well thought out, simple. It makes my life easier and is much better than commercial tools I've seen so far.

One very small suggestion: would it be possible to highlight the selected (yellow) path section in the left frame as well? That way it would be great to see which section is selected on the map - maybe with a blue background like in the hover effect?
