Map orientation on Android

Is it possible for the map to auto-orient itself so that the navigation always appears as "forward" i.e. towards the top of the screen? In my Android app the orientation is always North-South as if I were holding a map in front of me, which means when I'm heading south it shows me going down the screen and I have to mentally convert right turns to left and vice versa. This leads to a few wrong turns.

Distance to go not updating on Android

What it says... Even at the end of the ride it still shows the entire distance to go. Have noticed this on last couple of rides. Not sure if there is anything specific about the rides.
