I'm finding my away around. I've used quite a few map/navigation apps but each one takes getting to know.
I came here because your route planning tool is like my favourite on bikerouter.de but with additional features. And because coffee membership gives me access to French IGN maps (although only when online it seems).
At present I am confused by lack of labels. The forum and speedometer are not so labelled. What does the speedo do (apart from that number which looks likes speed)?
I want to be able to prepare routes, store them in the cloud, and access them from the android app. For that I need to be able to store some of them on the phone/tablet. I want then to be able to follow a route (or no route) , see where I am as I ride, and make a gpx file of the track.
On the app I want to be able to create quick and dirty routes when I need them, and to follow them while knowing how much distance remains. ( I see you have 'map lock' which looks useful for following short ad-hoc routes.)
My first attempt creating a route gave me something editable (and I am getting my head around the editor), but I cannot see how to save it.
I imported another route which is shown on the website map but not editable. But I cannot see how to save or delete it.
Can you give some clues what of the above is possible and some tips where to find them, please.
Finally on patreon I found the address of the forum.
How can I find the forum without first knowing the forum exists and second finding its URL?
Should I expect to be able to record a ride on the Android app? If so, how? When you talk of route do you mean planned route or a record of where you actually went?
Hello
It would be useful if your site were to give details of which countries are covered.
I tried in out on an route in Dordogne, France and was impressed with the result.
It was easy to get the gpx file and load it into my mapping/GPS apps.
In contrast your site does not appear to know anything about New Zealand.
So please say somewhere on the site just what countries you cover, and update it as you add more countries.
