A short ride along the Rhine on the Eurovelo 2

This is a morning ride which encompasses the best that Holland has to offer in terms of scenery. It takes in a small portion of the Veluwe nature area at the start to then go onto the Eurovelo 2 and the ferry at Wagengeningen to cross the Rhine. After the ferry you cycle along the dike in the Betuwe, famous for it's fruit orchards. At Opheusen you take another ferry (after having coffee and cake with a great view at the old ferry house) back across the river to continue your journey. Once off the ferry you'll end up cycling along a brook (Valleikanaal) until Ede. A very varied short ride with the typical Dutch experience of using river ferries. And of course, perfect cycle paths!
