Aldwark Toll bridge is closed

For riders of this, this summer (2023), the aldwark toll bridge is completely closed. Some riders i met later on on the route claimed you could cross on a nearby golf course, but I couldnt see that at the time. I took a lengthy diversion which involved some of the A59 which is very unpleasant, but there aren't any other bridges before york. Other than that, it's a magnificent route. Don't be ashamed to push up Settle hill. and test your brakes before Pateley Bridge.
