I have been using your 'text turn by turn with road names' print out feature:
very good* apart from I find the 'enter/leave placename' feature adds clutter/confusion especially where a route weaves in and out of a town boundary. Perhaps an option to turn off and print only road names (leaving any placenames to be added by hand?
Interestingly I found using paper AA/philips A to Z streetmaps that they would sometimes show some junctions as crossroads (despite being big enough scale to show correct staggeredness) so seeming to differ from your turn text until I zoomed in on the PC and discovered the staggered-ness.

*When writing turn by turn by hand I generally mark style/secondary road-names of junctions past on the 'main' road to allow reassurance to myself.

I'll look into it - probably not 100% straightforward but it should be doable!
Knowing when to say "straight on" and when to say "turn left/right" is a tricky one: there are lines and lines of code in the route-planner to differentiate between the two but it doesn't always get it right (it has a threshold of about 10m or so).

I had simply assumed the optional Enter/Leave town option would be simple (eg change one function)....
Adding reassuring, passing side roads info lines like I did by hand with my 100% by hand routes , I would have expected to be more involved, but I can fill these in by hand anyway, the computer route is a good start point. One for the very slow/back burner?
As for my paper A-Z showing staggers as crossroads, to clarify, it(the paper A-Z) was wrong, your turn by turn was correct (as visible on its on-line map when I zoomed in a lot).
NB As an aside not a request, one thing that has caught me out with paper maps is give ways not being where expected: eg B road turns right at T and must give way to minor road: does OSM data contain such info ? A pity not on OS maps :( ...

OSM doesn’t consistently have give-way information, annoyingly. I hope it’s something that’ll come in time but it’s not generall yhtere right now.
