A cycle.traveller since 24 November 2023.

Love cycle travelling. First cycle tour was in 1974, first long (>week) 1983.  Glad for the evolution of gears getting lower as my years get higher.  My ideal riding day begins after 10am and ends by 5pm with lot's of rose smelling along the way.  Speed not usually my thing but good food and a beer at the end of the day - yay!  Love Europe and the European sensibilities with regards to cycling and cycling infrastructure.  Playing with routes on this site has also encouraged me give the UK a go as it was my first home.   Only discovered this site recently - it is amazing!  Hats of to you Richard!
