Just curious as I loved some of the routes people have posted and would love to post a comment to them about it or discuss the route with others. :) Thank you!
Was delivered very quickly. I only ordered it May 7th and it arrived May 9th! It was fully assembled and light enough I can lift it myself without too much trouble. I think I could get it up a flight of stairs if I needed to. Definitely on/off trains and busses. On the site, it said the tires did not roll while it was folded, but I find that they do so that will also make it easier to get around tight places while folded.
I can't wait to ride it. I have the battery charging and I am waiting to see if it charges to full within a reasonable time frame. If not, I will try it out without the e-assist on. I am very excited to leave my house. I purchased the bike because I used to hike about 40 miles a week. But I developed a very severe case of plantar fasciitis and even after 3 weeks of no walking, it has not fully healed.
I do not have a car. Walking was my entire mode of transport so the bike is my new mode of transport. I am actually looking on the bright side of everything and the distance having it opens up for me. I am looking forward getting back to my fitness goals and exploring Scotland on two wheels instead of two feet :)
