Head out of Chippy on the A361 towards Burford, but turn left at the first Chadlington turn. Turn left at Chadlington centre and head East through Spelsbury and Taston, following route 442 along the Salt Way and round into Charlbury. Keep on route 442 through Charlbury but by the station turn keep straight, and pick up the N8 route heading East again. Follow the N8 through Kiddington, and keep straight to continue along route 5. Continue past Middle Barton and Barford St Michael, and through Bloxham, and turn right along Bloxham Grove Road. Continue through Bodicote and turn left at the roundabout to follow route 5 roughly West, crossing the A361 and emerge onto the B4035. Cross this road and keep following route 5 above Tadmarton and Swalcliffe, until you reach Sibford Ferris. Continue along route 5 until it joins route 48 near Shipston on Stour. Here, turn sharp left and head roughly South along route 48 through Todenham. Leave route 48 about 1 km South of Todenham by turning left down Wolford Road. Pass through Great Wolford, Barton on the Heath, Little Compton until you reach the minor road by the Rollright Stones. Turn left then right, past Little Rollright and into Over Norton. Just before Chipping Norton you can turn right down Spring Street and take the quiet route into the Market Place past Sainsburys.
