Hi, firstly congratulations on an excellent route planner, which I'm using to plan a JOGLE ride. I'm having trouble downloading the GPX files, which just provides me with lines of text on the screen. Is this a temporary glitch?

Hmm - that shouldn't be happening. What browser are you using?
Safari (I'm using a Mac) but not had a problem before, I'll give it a try with Google Chrome and see what happens
I experienced the same yesterday (mac). File, Save As, Type=Page Source and ensure the saved file uses the .gpx extension works.
It works ok with Google Chrome. I'll try your tip John, many thanks.
From Safari you can also copy and paste the file into a text editor, which also has the cunning advantage of allowing you to change the name of the route to something other than 'active route' (wtte) in case you need to open the GPX file in something else. If you want to get it into Routebuddy on OSX (because, say, you're suffering from a 1:50k OS withdrawal symptoms), as a route, then GPSBabel does a good job of turning the Trackpoints into routepoints...And so to a SatMap unit, or whatever you have on your handlebars.
