People have certainly successfully transferred cycle.travel routes across to a Satmap device, but unfortunately GPS receivers do tend to have their own peculiarities as to what files they'll accept! It's difficult to find out what's wrong without having a Satmap unit here to test against, I'm afraid. Maybe Satmap support can help?
Thanks for your help.I thought it might just be me having a senior moment..
I finally sorted it, you have to first to convert the route to an I.map file then you can import it, this is all done in satsync
